If you are a Platform/Marketplace (Baas API user), your customers can use ConnectPay’s merchant services to top-up their IBAN accounts. The purpose of top-up is to collect non-commercial transactions to your customers’ accounts.
Stage:
To start testing this service, drop a message to [email protected] mentioning you will want to integrate Top-up APIs. By default, this service is disabled for merchants.
Production:
To receive this service, you will need to have a BaaS contract – just inform your account manager about it, as top-up is disabled by default.
Kinds of top-up payments:
- Top-up by PIS – ability to top-up your customer’s account using the Payment initiation service that supports SEPA CT or INST rails. Currently, ConnectPay supports bank integrations from banks in Germany, the Netherlands, and Lithuania. Supported banks can be found here, or you can call our Get providers API. This method is created in redirection mode – when you call Initiate top-up payment API, you later receive a redirect URL where your customer continues the journey and is redirected back to you. Currently, UI changes are not supported.
- Top-up by Apple Pay – allows your customers to top-up their account using Apple Pay digital wallet. Only Safari browser is supported for this method. Funds are settled instantly.
- Top-up by Google Pay – allows your customers to top-up their account using Google Pay digital wallet. All most popular browsers are supported (Safari, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Edge) for this method. Funds are settled instantly.
