A restricted account is a fully functioning ConnectPay Client’s account, but the end user — the BaaS Client (the account holder) — does not have direct access to control the account(s) via ConnectPay channels (such as Online Banking or ConnectPay Mobile App). The BaaS Client will only be able to control the restricted account via the platform’s provided channel(s).
Two types of restricted accounts are available:
"Personal"
for private investors or borrowers."Business"
for corporate investors or borrowers.
To open a restricted account for a private (
) investor/borrower, see: Open an account for a private client – ConnectPay"Personal"
To open a restricted account for a corporate (
) investor/borrower, see: Open an account for a corporate client – ConnectPay"Business"
For more information about onboarding overall, see Onboarding – ConnectPay
A transactional account is a special type of account used for investments and repayments to investors per project. Funds in transactional accounts belong to the investors, so they must be segregated and safeguarded.
To open a transactional account, use Open Account API. The request body should contain accountType
"Transactional"
and baasClientId
. The currency is always EUR. The request should also include the technical customer’s baasClientId
.
More information about the technical customer is shared by the ConnectPay team during onboarding.
We offer webhooks for account status changes. Please check webhook notifications (section: Account status webhooks) for a full list of events.
